Hey Sweetheart!
One of my favorite evening activities is teaching a stained glass class to awesome people. We are building Swiss hearts like the ones for sale at #hereprovo.
They are at https://www.facebook.com/hereprovo/
This cute couple made a beautiful heart for a friend but they enjoyed the experience together. I'm sure they are even closer sweethearts now.
In case you were wondering, the Swiss heart is made of glass, not Swiss cheese. I just wanted to point that out.
But this one is really cheese.
Upon further research, they are Scandinavian woven hearts. In Danish they are Julehjerte. (really). Apparently the author Hans Christian Anderson made them from paper in 1860. You learn so many things in glass class.
Here are the finished masterpieces. Job well done my amazing students. You all get Swiss chocolate. Just kidding, but that sounds delicious.
Come join us for a date night to make some stained glass.

Our next class will be at the Here store/gallery on March 10 when we will be making Nova stars.
More classes are available at our studio on March 17 when we will be making shamrocks and maybe a leprechaun surprise. Sign up here.
