Work/Play

There was a fine line between work and play today. We installed the Dragonfly window in Salt Lake and enjoyed the company of our clients. They and their friend stood mesmerized at the final reveal.

Some touch-up calking on the bathroom windows and we called it good. Then off to tour some glass studios. We checked out Western Art glass. My favorite things were the kaleidoscope

and the NEON sign. (I think I need one). The next stop was Thanksgiving Point. We visited with Tom Holdman and saw windows that were going in the Paris and Rome LDS temples. He and his wife told  us about the next project on their agenda which was mind blowing. A movable glass building.

At home I cleaned up this adorable little window. Sometimes it's hard to sell the ones that make my heart sing. This is for Davids cousin, it's based on the Star Valley Temple stained glass. She asked for the colors to match the temple colors, so we bought some glass that was left over from our friends who built the originals.

Then at the end of a perfect day was a visit to the book store for art books. Life is grand.

  1. Glass looks amazing! And neon too! Can you suggest good stained glass restoration company? As far as it goes it`s hard to find good contractors
