This week I talk about 5 successes and struggles we've learned from at various art shows. We try different art venues and there are many to chose from.
Fifth, be prepared for mixed results at different fairs. Some show may be like the Mother Lode, you'll sell your art, one piece after another and you'll run the risk of not paying attention to potential customers. At other shows, you'll have plenty of time to talk because the sales are slow.
Expect the unexpected. You have weather, shoppers, neighboring vendors and sometimes even dogs to challenge your selling experience. Go with the flow and take notes on what to do different next time.
